Opitsuomea offers a wide range of flexible online Finnish lessons. Lessons are tailored to your individual goals, whether you want to support your child’s progress at school, improve your everyday Finnish, prepare for the National Certificate of Language Proficiency (YKI) test or strengthen your Finnish for work.

The fee is €70 per 45-minute lesson, VAT included. So one lesson costs 87,85 e. There is no charge for cancelled lessons.
Studying Finnish with a private online teacher
I teach via Google Meet or Zoom / Teams, using Padlet to take notes and share materials with my students.
My teaching hours are typically from 17:00 PM to 20:00 PM Finnish time (Eastern European Time, UTC+2 in winter / UTC+3 in summer), and weekend lessons are also possible.
Lessons and payment
Your first lesson is always free. After that, you can decide whether you would like to continue.
Each lesson lasts 45 minutes and costs €87,85, including 25.5% VAT (€70 excluding VAT).
I invoice once a month for lessons that have taken place. Cancelled lessons are not charged.
Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.

Who are the lessons for?
I teach young people and adults. Lessons can focus on everyday Finnish, school, studies, working life or preparing for the YKI test. -
How do online lessons work?
We meet online using an agreed platform, such as Google Meet, Teams or Zoom. You will need an internet connection, a microphone and preferably a computer or tablet. -
